Interactive kiosk-style presentation for Adult English Learners
Interactive Learning Objects (ILOs) allow learners to navigate and use information independently. This project, created in Microsoft PowerPoint, is structured to allow use on a kiosk or other non-attended presentation device. The content reviews many different components of jobs and careers in the United States, targeted to adult immigrants. This content was compiled through research I conducted for my position with an adult English program. The interactive PowerPoint design allows for students to choose the topics of interest to them, as they will have varying levels of career competency and goals from their native country. The presentation also allows teachers to share with the students for use in their own time, without having to prepare a formal presentation or be subject matter experts themselves.
